Formed in 1980, EnSys is headquartered in the United States and operates internationally through associate companies in the UK and the Middle East.  While working frequently as team members to best meet client needs, we are fully independent and thus able to offer truly impartial assessment and advice. The software tools that support our analyses are both highly proven and continually maintained to be at the forefront of capability to address current and future issues.

Mission

Our goal is to assist oil companies, industry organizations and government/regulatory agencies worldwide address critical and complex oil and gas issues that require a combination of management perspective, bottom line or cost-benefit orientation, and detailed technical/economic analysis. We develop, employ and supply sophisticated quantitative tools to assist us and our clients. Our aim is to grow long-term relationships as evidenced by a high proportion of repeat and long-term clients.

About the Principals

EnSys' downstream practice is led by its founder, Martin Tallett, a chemical engineer with 30 years of international experience in consulting with major oil companies and a recognized expert in refining economics and modeling.

EnSys' upstream practice is headed by Bryan Yocum, a leading expert in oil and gas field facilities design and operation with 40 years of experience covering many of the world's major oil fields.

Daniel N. Dunbar, a chemical engineer with 40 years of experience who has won national awards for his innovations, undertakes lead roles in both the upstream and downstream practices.

Several principal consultants bring to bear substantial additional expertise in both the upstream and downstream sectors. To maintain international reach and supplement its core personnel, EnSys maintains alliance relationships with specialist energy consultancies in the United States, the UK, the Middle East and Latin America.
