A major study undertaken by EnSys Energy in partnership with RTI and Navigistics Consulting was used by the EPA to show the fuels market impacts of a US/Canadian ECA and was an integral component of the US ECA submission to the International Maritime Organization.   EnSys employed WORLD to assess the refining, fuels supply and oil markets impacts of the USA and Canada implementing ECA’s.  Extensive analysis was undertaken across a range of scenarios leading to specific projections of the impacts of ECA marine fuel shifts on refining activity and investments, marine fuels and other products supply costs, crude and product trade in North America and worldwide.
